This year has been a challenge like no other for us
personally and for CIWOT
It has been my privilege to see CIWOT rise to this challenge and adapt in this trying time for all of us.
We have learned how to hold meetings, workshops, Business Club and so much more via ZOOM
We have set up Whatsapp groups for every Member to keep in touch with each other.
We now have our very own app via WIX for our mobile phones to post events, blogs, discussion forums, photos and other items of interest to each other, and it doesn’t have to be about CIWOT!
We are using our website more for information, recipes and events for not just our Members but the wider public
We are posting more on our Instagram and Facebook open page and have 1.3k followers now.
We have set up PayPal to make Membership fees easier to pay and also for donations for our Charities. The link for this is found at the bottom of our HOME page on our Website.
We have with the wider community help from Mums in Cyprus and Mamanet donated items in kind to both Cyprus Stop Trafficking and AGAPI.
We have with you the Members helped donated to the Lebanon Relief Fund, 500 Euros to CST and 500 to AGAPI and we will in the next week hopefully be donating another 500 each to CST and AGAPI our chosen Charities.
This work could not have been done without you the Members and our wonderful volunteer Board and Team Members, their continued support, dedication and hours donated by them is what makes CIWOT work.
My heartfelt thanks go to each and every one of them and to you the Members for keeping in touch and joining in the events and meetings we have had over the past year.
I look forward to seeing CIWOT continue to thrive, and to seeing what other exciting and interesting ideas come up for the new Year and New Season
I wish you all continued good health, and may 2021 be kinder to us all.
