*Cyprus STOP Trafficking is an organisation that helps the trafficked victims.

Human  trafficking is the trading of people for labour or sexual exploitation.  Also for trading human organs. It is modern day slavery, exploitation  and abuse. An estimated 27 million people are currently victims of this  hideous crime, the majority being women and children.

The main recipients of the trafficked victims are countries with high standard of living. Cyprus is one of them.
