CANCELLED - POP UP EVENT - Logos Hope Ship - Book Fair

The  world’s largest floating book fair will dock at Limassol as the Logos Hope ship arrives on the island with its large selection of books.

That’s  right, a library of books is set up on the ship and it sails the world,  staying at each country’s port for about two weeks. Cyprus’ turn is  coming up on November 25, offering the opportunity to readers to climb  on board and explore more than 5,000 titles at affordable prices. The  bookfair’s collection is mostly in English and features children’s  books, academic texts, dictionaries and genres spanning from science,  sports, hobbies, cookery, arts, medicine and languages to faith.

Once  in Limassol it will remain at the port until December 14, inviting the  public to visit the ship and the bookfair. Besides exploring the large  selection of books, the crew will offer tours of the ship, while at the  entrance, screens will play short films presenting the ship.

Entrance  to the book fair is low-cost, making it affordable to all as 13 to  65-year-olds pay €1 to visit, while pensioners and children under 12 can  enter for free.

Precise  meeting place will come nearer to the time as it has not been announced  exactly where it will port, but I will keep you posted here.
